Hideaki Anno’s Shin Kamen Rider Announces Release Date on 50th Anniversary of Final Episode

 

On the 50th anniversary of the final episode of the original Kamen Rider series today, the official Twitter account for the upcoming Shin Kamen Rider film finally revealed that it will be released in Japanese theaters on March 18 with special screenings across Japan the night before at 6 PM. Two new posters were also released to commemorate the announcement and the anniversary.

Shin Kamen Rider re-imagines the original Kamen Rider story with Shin Godzilla and Evangelion’s Hideaki Anno at the helm. It is set to be released in Japan on March 18 with special premiere screenings at 6 PM on March 17 in various theaters across Japan.
