Heroes Embrace in The Demon Sword Master of Excalibur Academy TV Anime Teaser Visual

 

A dramatic new key visual has been published for The Demon Sword Master of Excalibur Academy (known in Japan as Seiken Gakuin no Makentsukai), an upcoming TV anime based on the series of fantasy light novels written by Yu Shimizu and illustrated by Asagi Tohsaka about an all-powerful demon lord who reincarnates in the body of a ten year old boy after a thousand years have passed.

 

The visual (below) features the main characters of the series: Leonis Death Magnus and Riselia Ray Crystalia.

The original The Demon Sword Master of Excalibur Academy light novels are published in Japan by Media Factory (a division of KADOKAWA) under their MF Bunko J imprint, and an English language version is also available from Yen Press, who describe the story of the series as follows:

Awakening from magical stasis after a thousand years, the Dark Lord Leonis suddenly finds himself in the body of a ten-year-old boy! He quickly meets Riselia, a girl confronting the Voids, creatures that have nearly exterminated humanity. Determined to uncover the mysteries of this strange new era, Leonis enrolls in Excalibur Academy, a school that trains students to fight back against these enigmatic monsters. Could the Voids hold some connection to Leonis’s past?

 

The Demon Sword Master of Excalibur Academy TV anime features animation production by Passione. Additional details about the series (such as the main staff, cast, and the release date) have not yet been revealed.
