Grim Guardians: Demon Purge Game is on the Attack in Opening Movie

Grim Guardians: Demon Purge

Developer Inti Creates is cooking up a Castlevania-style gothic horror co-op side-scroller called Grim Guardians: Demon Purge, which was first revealed back in August of last year. The game is due out on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch and PC (Steam) digitally on February 23, and you can see how the curtain rises to the energetic beat of the “Never x Never x Never” theme song, as performed by the Kamizono Sisters (Emi Uema and Chinami Hashimoto), in the opening movie below.

Here’s how the official website describes the story:

The Kamizono household.

Home to a long lineage of demon hunters.

Kamizono Shinobu and Kamizono Maya—the latest in

this long line of demon hunters—return to school

one day after finishing a job,

only to find themselves in shock.

Unbeknownst to them, the school had been

turned into a demonic castle in their absence.

What could have caused this?

And what of the other students?

With mysteries afoot and danger abound,

only demon hunters have the ability to set things right.

The Kamizono siblings fight once again.

“When demons lurk near, we demon hunters appear!”

“Kamizono siblings, move out!”
