Godzilla vs. Kong Sequel Title Revealed Ahead of March 2024 Premiere

 

The next entry in Warner Bros. Pictures and Legendary Pictures’ Monsterverse film series has an official title. The sequel to 2021’s Godzilla vs. Kong is on the way to theaters and IMAX screens on March 15, 2024 with the title Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire.

The filmmakers promise further exploration of the histories of the title Titans, the mysteries of Skull Island and more.

 

That premiere date was previously revealed along with plans for director Adam Wingard to return to the director’s chair, filming based on a script by frequent collaborator Simon Barrett (The Guest, You’re Next). The cast is returning, as well, including Rebecca Hall (Dr. Ilene Andrews), Brian Tyree Henry (Bernie Hayes) and Kaylee Hottle (Jia). Among the other cast members are Dan Stevens, Rachel House and Fala Chen.
