Giant Beasts of Ars TV Anime Reveals First Full Promo, More Cast

 

Original TV anime Giant Beasts of Ars is barreling toward its broadcast debut in Japan on January 6, and now we have our first full promo video to offer up a preview. In addition to the footage, the latest update includes a bunch of new cast members that will be getting in on the action next month.

An original project produced by DMM.com, Giant Beasts of Ars is being helmed by first-time director Akira Oguro at studio Asahi Production (Girls’ Frontline), with series composition by Norimitsu Kaiho (Akudama Drive), original character designs by Ashito Oyari adapted for animation by Hiroshi Shimizu (MEGALOBOX) and Masato Kato (Peach Boy Riverside), and music by Shuji Katayama (Overlord) and Akinari Suzuki (Smile Down the Runway).

The series was previously announced as HIDIVE’s first co-production. Here’s the synopsis:

 

The great beasts created the land, but humans stole it. Angered, the beasts began eating humans, who in turn called upon the gods to fight the beasts. In the age of the sword, heroes and mythology, giant beasts are hunted by humans for profit. Jiro, who makes his living hunting beasts, encounters Kuumi, who is being chased by someone, and in that moment decides to save her. As rumors spread regarding humanity and a mysterious experiment, together they seek to discover the world’s secrets.
