Get Energized with Tea Inspired by the Eight High Schools of Haikyuu!!

Haikyu!! x Gin Iro Neko tea blends

Get energized—or relaxed—with eight unique tea blends from Gin-Iro-Neko Tea Salon, inspired by hit volleyball anime Haikyu!!

The Tokyo-based tea salon has a history of crafting blends based on characters from our favorite anime, from My Hero Academia to Mr. Osomatsu. Rather than being based on individual characters this time, though, each tea embodies the energy of one of the series’s eight main schools.

For example, the Karasuno High School tea is a vibrant blend of Ceylon, pineapple, and citrus:

Or you can brew up one of the other blends:

  • Aoba Johsai: Darjeeling with kiwi, eucalyptus, lemon, and pear flavors
  • Nekoma: A fruit tisane including pineapple, papaya, elderberry, and hibiscus
  • Date Kogyo: Oolong with cloves, white pepper, cardamom, and anise
  • Fukurodani: Rooibos with ginger, apple, and sweet clover
  • Shiratorizawa: A black soybean and houjicha blend with chicory, dandelion, and juniper berry
  • Inarizaki: Green tea and matcha with yuzu, sakura, and black pepper
  • Kamomedai: Jasmine tea with lemon, mint, and coriander

Pre-orders for all eight teas are now open on the Gin-Iro-Neko website. One tin of seven tea bags is priced at 1,944 ten. The tea will also be available for pre-order at Animate stores, and will go on sale at the Gin-Iro-Neko Tea Salon starting in December.
