Gen Urobuchi Revealed as Creator of Original TV Anime Revenger in Latest Trailer
If you’ve been wondering why the main staff behind upcoming original anime Revenger has been kept under wraps for so long, it’s because the series decided to do a huge drop all at once today by revealing a full trailer with the news that renowned screenwriter Gen Urobuchi is at the helm, joined by an all-star production team to bring his latest historical tale to life.

On top of all the epic samurai action, the new trailer also provides a preview of the anime’s ending theme song, “un_mute” by Maaya Sakamoto (Deaimon: Recipe for Happiness OP).

Crunchyroll, who’ll be streaming the anime after it airs in Japan, describes the series as such:
As master assassin Usui Yuen looks into a series of assassinations made on the grand samurai clan, the Satsuma, he encounters Kurima Raizo, member and survivor of one of the attacks.
