Final Fantasy VII: The First Soldier Game to End Service in January
If you’ve been playing battle royale mobile game Final Fantasy VII: The First Soldier, it’s time to start winding down that excitement. Players officially have three months to enjoy what remains, because Square Enix announced plans to end service for the action game at 7:00 UTC on January 11, 2023.

Final Fantasy VII: The First Soldier first launched on November 17, 2021, so it will have lasted a little over a year once all is said and done.
According to the announcement, the team wasn’t able to “deliver the experience that we were hoping for, and that you all deserve,” hence the decision to end service. Support for non-English language ends on November 1—after which all text will be displayed in English—and Shinra Credits have already been removed from the shop.
