Evangelion Shinji VA Megumi Ogata’s 30th Anniversary Anisong Cover Album Preview Now Streamed
As part of her voice actor debut’s 30th anniversary project, Megumi Ogata, best known as Shinji Ikari in the Evangelion franchise, will release an anisong cover mini album “Animeg. 30th” from Lantis on February 15, 2023, and the album’s ten-minute all-song preview is now streamed on YouTube.
Ogata started her voice acting career in 1992, and the six songs in the album were selected from the series that she has performed in during her career – JUJUTU KAISEN 0 (Yuta Okkotsu), The Idaten Deities Know Only Peace (Ysley), Toilet-Bound Hanako-kun (Hanako, Tsukasa), Akudama Drive (Doctor), Yu Yu Hakusho (Kurama), and Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 Thrice Upon a Time (Shinji Ikari). .
