Eternal Boys Anime Goes Beyond TV with Special Theatrical Episode

They’re not called Eternal Boys for nothin’, so the aspiring idol sensations aren’t content with stopping just yet. The 24th episode of the Eternal Boys TV anime is scheduled to broadcast on Fuji TV on March 27, and after that the boys are stepping onto a much bigger stage with a special theatrical episode.

 

While story details have yet to be revealed, Eternal Boys NEXT STAGE is set to hit theaters in Japan on June 9. Check out the teaser trailer below.

Following a rebroadcast of the full series on TOKYO MX and BS11, there’s also a special edition of Eternal Boys set to screen in theaters for a limited time of two weeks starting on May 19.

Eternal Boys centers on an idol group comprised entirely of men 40 years old and over, as they pursue their idol dreams while overcoming their demographic’s own unique concerns. Migmi directs the series at Liden Films, with Kimiko Ueno handling the series composition, and Yukari Hashimoto handling the music.
