Detective Conan: The Bride of Halloween Film Plans Revival Screening in Halloween Time

In honor of Halloween, the Detective Conan anime franchise’s 25th feature film Detective Conan: The Bride of Halloween plans a time-limited revival screening in Japan from October 28 to November 7. This screening period is on the same time axis as that of the film.

The 111-minute film was released in 498 theaters (including 39 IMAX theaters, 80 4D theaters, 5 DOLBY CINEMA theaters) in Japan on April 15, 2022, then made its No.1 debut with a huge 1.384 billion yen (9.59 million USD) on 966,000 admissions in the weekend box office ranking. Its total domestic gross has reached 9.26 billion yen (64.22 million USD) to make it the second highest grossing film in the Conan anime franchise, behind only the 23rd film The Fist of Blue Sapphire (2019 / 9.37 billion yen).

This revival screening was made possible by the staff’s desire for the audience to enjoy the film more in the same time frame as the film’s story. A special version with director Susumu Mitsunaka and his staff paying close attention to every detail and extra finishing touch will be screened. In addition, theatergoers will receive a Halloween greeting card newly drawn by the Conan manga author Gosho Aoyama. Don’t miss this special opportunity!
