The previous 25th film Detective Conan: The Bride of Halloween was released in Japan on April 15, 2022. Thanks to the revival screening held from October 28 to November 7, its cumulative box office gross since April reached 9.48 billion yen (63.78 million USD) to make it the highest grossing film in the Conan anime franchise, surpassing the 23rd film The Fist of Blue Sapphire (2019 / 9.37 billion yen).
