Culinary Adventure Heats Up in Campfire Cooking in Another World with My Absurd Skill PV

A tasty new trailer, three new cast members and the opening and ending theme song performers have all been revealed for Campfire Cooking in Another World with My Absurd Skill, an upcoming TV anime based on the isekai fantasy light novel series written by Ren Eguchi about a man whose culinary skills serve him well when he’s transported to a magical fantasy world.

 

The opening theme, entitled “Seitaku na Saji” (“Extravagant Spoon”), is performed by Van de Shop. The ending theme, entitled “Happy-go-Journey”, is performed by Yuma Uchida.

The Campfire Cooking in Another World TV anime is directed by Kiyoshi Matsuda and features animation production by MAPPA. It will broadcast on TV TOKYO and other stations beginning on January 10, 2023, and it will also stream on Crunchyroll as part of the winter 2023 anime simulcast lineup. Crunchyroll describes the story of the series as follows:

 

Mukoda Tsuyoshi, an ordinary salaryman, is suddenly transported to another world one day. The unique skill he gains upon arrival in this world is the seemingly useless “Online Grocery.” Mukoda is discouraged at first, but the modern foods he’s able to bring to his new world using this skill prove to have some unbelievable effects!
