Chihayafuru Director Helms Loving Yamada at Lv999! TV Anime for 2023 Broadcast
The game is on! Among all the exciting news out of Aniplex Online Fest this year was the announcement that romantic-comedy manga Loving Yamada at Lv999! is getting a TV anime adaptation in 2023. A teaser visual and trailer were released, along with the main staff and cast.

As previewed in the trailer, Akito Yamada is being voiced by Koki Uchiyama (Miyamura in Horimiya) and Akane Kinoshita is being voiced by Inori Minase (Itsuki in The Quintessential Quintuplets).

Based on the manga by Mashiro, Loving Yamada at Lv999! is being directed by Morio Asaka (Chihayafuru) at studio MADHOUSE, with series composition by Yasuhiro Nakanishi (Kaguya-sama: Love is War) and character designs by Kunihiko Hamada (My Love Story!!).
Mangamo, who releases an official English version of the series, describes the story as such:
Recently dumped, Akane is just about to quit the game she used to play with her boyfriend, when she meets Yamada in the same RPG. Yamada in real life turns out to be somewhat of a legend. The only problem is – he is ONLY interested in the game. As Akane’s feelings grow, will Yamada’s focus stay on the game?
