Chainsaw Man Anime Gets Existential in Fifth Ending Theme by syudou

It’s Chainsaw Man Tuesday once again, which means it’s time to soak in another awesome ending theme video! This week’s has syudou performing “In the Back Room,” and it’s set to an existential backdrop full of stunningly animated optical illusions.

The single for “In the Back Room” is available on all platforms now. Check out the full ending video, and look for episode 5 to hit Crunchyroll today at 9:00am Pacific Time. 

 

 

 

VIZ Media releases the Chainsaw Man manga in English, with all 11 volumes of Part 1 out now. Chainsaw Man Part 2 began serialization on the Shonen Jump+ digital manga magazine, Shonen Jump app and Manga Plus app on July 13. Chainsaw Man volume 12, the first volume containing Part 2, was released in Japan on October 4. 

 

Crunchyroll currently streams the series as it airs in Japan, describing it as such:

 

Denji is a teenage boy living with a Chainsaw Devil named Pochita. Due to the debt his father left behind, he has been living a rock-bottom life while repaying his debt by harvesting devil corpses with Pochita. 
 

One day, Denji is betrayed and killed. As his consciousness fades, he makes a contract with Pochita and gets revived as “Chainsaw Man” — a man with a devil’s heart.
