By the Grace of the Gods Season 2 Reveals OP / ED Theme Song Performers

 

The opening and ending theme song performs have been revealed for the upcoming second season of By the Grace of the Gods (known in Japan as Kami-tachi ni Hirowareta Otoko), an ongoing TV anime adaptation based on the isekai fantasy light novel series written by Roy and illustrated by Ririnra about a man who decides to live a peaceful life when he is reincarnated as a young boy in a magical fantasy world.

 

The opening theme, entitled “Way to go”, is performed by MindaRyn, while the ending theme, entitled “”Drum-shiki Tansaki” (“Drum Ceremony Space Probe”), is performed by Azusa Tadokoro. MindaRyn and Tadokoro also performed the official themes for the first season of By the Grace of the Gods.

The original By the Grace of the Gods light novels are published in Japan by Hobby Japan under their HJ Novels imprint, and an English language version is also available from J-Novel Club. The story of the series is described as follows:

 

Only 39 years into a life full of bad luck, Ryoma Takebayashi passes away in his sleep! Taking pity on him, three divine beings show compassion by reincarnating him as a young boy to a magical, new world. Now he spends his time researching and caring for slimes. But after healing an injured traveler, Ryoma decides to set out with his new friends on a journey to use his power to help others.

The By the Grace of the Gods TV anime is directed by Takeyuki Yanase and features animation production by MAHO FILM. The second season of the series will begin broadcast in Japan in January of 2023, and it will also stream on Crunchyroll as part of the winter 2023 anime simulcast lineup.
