Burger King Japan Gets 3 Peanut Butter Burgers for SPY x FAMILY’s Anya

In SPY x FAMILY, adoptive dad Loid Forger learns pretty early on that keeping his “daughter” Anya happy can be as easy as making sure she has peanuts to eat. Anya’s infamous love of peanuts is inspiring some new, limited-time burgers from Burger King Japan. The company is wagering that their customers love peanuts as much as Anya. Or that they love Anya enough to buy burgers with a peanut flair.

From October 21 to November 17, Burger King Japan is offering up three Peanut Butter Royale burgers. (It appears they decided to do three burgers to match the three members of the fictional Forger family.)

The first burger, Royale and Berry, is basically a Whopper mixed with a peanut butter and jelly sandwich: a beef patty, mayo, peanut butter sauce and sour berry sauce.

The second burger, Royale and Bacon, is a beef patty, mayo, peanut butter sauce, and bacon.

The third, Royale and Chicken, is a beef patty, a fried chicken patty, mayo, cheddar cheese, and peanut butter sauce.

If a person buys a set, they can get one of four possible Anya aprons (see main image). Two are of Anya by herself, one is of Anya with her Chimera, and one is of Anya, Loid and Yor.

Once these aprons are gone, Burger King Japan will offer stickers with the same imagery as the aprons. But the stickers also say “Peanut Butter Royale” and the one with the family also has a peanut.

VIZ Media publishes the original SPY x FAMILY manga in English. It gave this description for the first volume:

“Not one to depend on others, Twilight has his work cut out for him procuring both a wife and a child for his mission to infiltrate an elite private school. What he doesn’t know is that the wife he’s chosen is an assassin and the child he’s adopted is a telepath!”
