BUMP OF CHICKEN Drops SPY x FAMILY Cour 2 Opening Theme MV
Following the ending theme “Shikisai” by yama yesterday, four-member Japanese rock band BUMP OF CHICKEN has also posted a full-length music video for their 19th digital single song “SOUVENIR,” the opening theme for the second cour of the SPY x FAMILY TV anime.

The video, shot in time-lapse on the highway, was directed by Spikey John, a visual director who is known for his MV works for Kaze Fujii, RADWIMPS, and Sakurazaka46, and won the BEST VIDEO DIRECTOR award in SPACE SHOWER MUSIC AWARDS 2022 in March 2022. This is the first time for him to collaborate with BUMP OF CHICKEN.

“SOUVENIR” was digitally released on September 29, 2022, then ranked No.1 in Oricon’s weekly digital single ranking with 30,000 downloads.

The second cour of the SPY x FAMILY TV anime premiered in Japan on October 1, and as with the first cour, it is now simulcast on Crunchyroll for its members in North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East and CIS.
