Last week anime production house P.A. WORKS teased what was at the time being called an original “buddy anime project,” and we have since gotten a followup with the official reveal. The series is a TV anime titled Buddy Daddies, which follows two professional assassins who end up having to take care of the mob boss’s daughter.
KRM’s HOME is credited with the original work, and Yoshiyuki Asai is directing. Original story draft credit goes to Vio Shimokura (Nitroplus), who is also working on series composition alongside Yuko Kakihara. Katsumi Enami is on original character designs, while Katsutoshi Kitagawa (ROUND TABLE) handles music.
Toshiyuki Toyonaga voices Kazuki Kurusu, Koki Uchiyama voices Rei Suwa and Hina Kino voices Miri Unasaka, with more cast and staff members to be revealed later.
