BOFURI TV Anime Introduces Four New Characters in Striking Visual
It looks like Maple is making some new friends online!
A new visual just dropped for BOFURI: I Don’t Want to Get Hurt, so I’ll Max Out My Defense. The new art depicts series lead Maple with four new characters, all of whom appeared at the end of episode 12:

Some fans believe that this new visual is proof of an incoming third season for the series. However, nothing has been officially confirmed one way or the other yet. We’ll be keeping an eye on this one!
The second season of BOFURI: I Don’t Want to Get Hurt, so I’ll Max Out My Defense. is directed by Shin Onuma at SILVER LINK with the first episode premiering on January 11. Crunchyroll is streaming the second season of the show as it is broadcast in Japan, describing it as such:
The best offense is a great defense, and for VRMMO gamer Kaede Honjo, her defense is the best. Under her alias Maple, she and her guild journey through NewWorld Online gaining friends and foes through new battle-filled quests.
