BLUELOCK TV Anime Kicks Off With Creditless Opening Theme Video

The BLUELOCK TV anime scored its first episode the other day, premiering both in Japan and around the world on Crunchyroll. To accompany the episode, the series released a creditless version of the opening theme video on the EMOTION YouTube channel around its broadcast time, letting everyone catch their favorite game set to “Chaos ga Kiwamaru” from Unison Square Garden.

The BLUELOCK began on October 8 and airs in the NUMAnimation programming block in Japan, with Tetsuaki Watanabe (Haikyu!! episode director) leading the team as the director at anime studio eightbit. Crunchyroll is streaming the series as part of its Fall 2022 anime season in both subbed and dubbed formats, describing the series as such:

 

Japan’s desire for World Cup glory leads the Japanese Football Association to launch a new rigorous training program to find the national team’s next striker. Three hundred high school players are pitted against each other for the position, but only one will come out on top. Who among them will be the striker to usher in a new era of Japanese soccer?
