The first Blood Blockade Battlefront manga began in Jump Square in January 2009, eventually ending on February 19, 2015, in the reworked Jump SQ.19 magazine. The series’ second part, Back 2 Back began in Jump SQ.Crown on July 17 of the same year and ending on April 28, 2022, in Jump SQ.Rise. This is where Beat 3 Peat began today.
Blood Blockade Battlefront was adapted into two TV anime seasons by the team at BONES. Both seasons are streaming on Crunchyroll both subbed and dubbed, which are described as such:
A breach between Earth and the netherworld has opened up over the city of New York, trapping New Yorkers and creatures from other dimensions in an impenetrable bubble.
