Ayakashi Triangle TV Anime Uncovers Main Cast, New Teaser Visual
The Aniplex Online Fest 2022 livestream event threw out several ninja stars for its Ayakashi Triangle segment today, unveiling a second teaser visual and main cast members for the supernatural ecchi anime series that is set to begin airing in January 2023.
The newly announced main cast is as follows:
- Shoya Chiba (Kiyotaka in Classroom of the Elite) as Matsuri Kazamaki (male)
- Miyu Tomita (Riko in Made in Abyss) as Matsuri Kazamaki (female)
- Kana Ichinose (Ichigo in DARLING in the FRANXX) as Suzu Kanade
- Tessho Genda (Kurama in Naruto) as Shirogane

Based on the manga by Kentaro Yabuki, Ayakashi Triangle is being directed by Noriaki Akitaya (The Strongest Sage with the Weakest Crest, Slow Loop) and assistant-directed by Kei Umabiki at studio CONNECT, with series composition by Shogo Yasukawa (The Executioner and Her Way of Life), character designs by Hideki Furukawa (Strike the Blood) and music by Rei Ishizuka (A Couple of Cuckoos). Jin Aketagawa serves as sound director.
Seven Seas Entertainment, who’ll be publishing the manga’s official English version in print later this year, describes the first volume as such:

Matsuri Kazamaki’s job as an exorcist ninja means that his livelihood depends on driving away the ayakashi spirits who endanger humans. He’s been protecting his childhood friend, Suzu Kanade, from the shadows for years, as she effortlessly attracts ayakashi. What will happen when Suzu encounters a creature who looks like a simple cat, but who is really Shirogane, the king of ayakashi?
