Attack on Titan Eren VA Yuki Kaji Plays Mamoru Miyano’s Boyfriend in TV Drama Kimi no Hana ni Naru

 

 

Voice actor Yuki Kaji (Eren Yeager in Attack on Titan) made a guest appearance in the third episode of the TV drama Kimi no Hana ni Naru, which aired in Japan on November 1. Kaji plays Toshi-kun, the boyfriend of Kenji Soegi, who is played by Mamoru Miyano (Light Yagami in Death Note, Setsuna F. Seiei in Mobile Suit Gundamm 00).

 

The Honda Tsubasa (Winry Rockbell in the Fullmetal Alchemist live-ction film series)-starring drama has been aired on the TBS network since October 18. Its story follows Asuka Nakamachi (Honda), a former high school teacher who becomes the matron of the dormitory where the seven members of the boy group 8LOOM live together. Miyano has played Kenji Soegi, the manager of 8LOOM.

 

In the latest third episode, Kosaka (Yuki Uchida), who has been appointed as chief manager of 8LOOM, says, “8LOOM does not need a matron in order to grow!” The members of 8LOOM, who have been relying on Asuka all their lives, are trying to become independent, and share the household chores. Then, they are offered a job to visit the dormitory for a TV interview, but the night before the interview, it is discovered that they have only cleaned up what Kosaka could see. To help them out, Kenji calls his boyfriend Toshi-kun, a civil servant whose hobby is cleaning and tidying up. Kaji will appear again in the next fourth episode to be aired on Novemebr 8.
