Atelier Ryza Anime Welcomes Tao Mongarten in New Character PV
Every adventuring party needs a smart member to keep things grounded… or at least to try. Thankfully, Atelier Ryza: Ever Darkness & the Secret Hideout has Tao!
The latest character PV for the upcoming anime series spotlights Tao Mongarten, Ryza’s clever and cautious friend. Eager to learn but hesitant to get in trouble, he’s always there to protect his friends—even if he’s a bit scared.

The anime’s main cast is as follows:

Based on the video game series developed by Koei Tecmo, Atelier Ryza: Ever Darkness & the Secret Hideout is being directed by Emma Yuzuriha at studio LIDEN FILMS, with series composition by Yashichiro Takahashi, character designs by Tomoyuki Shitaya (Blue Period) and music by Kazuki Yanagawa.
Koei Tecmo’s official English website describes the series as such:
Even though everyone has them, the memories we create with our friends are special to each and every one of us.
The story of “Atelier Ryza” is about a girl and her friends on the verge of adulthood, discovering what is most important to them.
The anime adaptation is scheduled to begin airing in Japan on July 1.
