Anisong Unit angela Releases AYAKA TV Anime Opening Theme Music Video
The official YouTube channel for two-member anisong unit angela began streaming a short music video for their forthcoming 33rd single song “AYAKASHI,” which will be featured as the opening theme for the summer 2023 TV anime AYAKA.

Following their previous 32nd single “RECONNECTION” (The Reincarnation of the Strongest Exorcist in Another World opening theme) in January, “AYAKASHI” will release in Japan on July 5, 2023. In the music video for the dramatic rock tune, angela and the band members show off their dynamic and powerful performance at an urban pier with a nightscape of skyscrapers in the background.

The Studio Blanc-animated original TV series AYAKA will broadcast in Japan beginning July 1, 2023, with Nobuyoshi Nagayama (Happy Sugar Life) directing, GoRA with series composition and scripts, and redjuice providing the original character designs. Crunchyroll will stream the series as part of its summer 2023 anime simulcast lineup, and describes the series:
The story follows Yukito Yanagi, an orphan who one day encounters an eccentric disciple of his father’s. The strange man takes him to his birthplace on Ayakajima, made up of seven islands where mysterious beings called “Mitama” and dragons are rumored to reside. There, Yukito meets his father’s two other disciples, who protect the harmony of Ayakajima… which soon threatens to collapse.
