Am I Actually the Strongest? TV Anime Begins Isekai Life on July 1
Life as a reincarnated hero is more complicated than expected in a new preview video for Am I Actually the Strongest?, an upcoming TV anime based on the series of isekai fantasy light novels that hits Japanese TV on July 01, 2023.
The series will broadcast on the Asahi Broadcasting Corporation / TV Asashi networks as part on the “ANiMAZiNG!!!” programming block on Saturdays during the 26:00 time slot (actually on Sunday morning at 2:00am JST).

New cast members have also been revealed for the series, including:
- Johnny voiced by Nobutoshi Canna
- Gigan voiced by Chitose Morinaga
- Oratoria Belkam voiced by Yuko Kaida
- Schneider Halfen voiced by Nobuhiko Okamoto
- Giselotte Orteas voiced by Yu Koboyashi
Additionally, the opening and ending theme performers have been revealed. The opening theme, entitled “Reset Life?”, is performed by virtual singer Lezel. The ending theme, entitled “HIMICHU★PRE-LOVE MAGIC“, is performed by idol group Star★Shiμ’ne!!!.
Known as Jitsuha Ore Saikyou Deshita? in Japan, the original Am I Actually the Strongest? light novels are written by Sai Summon, illustrated by Ai Takahashi, and published by Kodansha under their Kodansha Ranobe books imprint. An English language version of the series is also available from Kodansha USA.
Am I Actually the Strongest? is directed by Takashi Naoya and features animation production by Staple Entertainment. The series will stream on Crunchyroll as part of the summer 2023 anime simulcast lineup. Crunchyroll describes the story of Am I Actually the Strongest? as follows:
