A Cappella Project Aoppella Releases “Zenryoku Shounen” Cover

KLab media mix project Aoppella blends the vibes of high school wiht the joy of a cappella music. And if you could use some close harmony J-pop in your day, project unit Lil Happy is here to oblige!

 

The five-member unit, hailing from in-universe Otowa Public High School, features Ryohei KimuraRyota OhsakaKENNTetsuya Kakihara, and Tomoaki Maeno. Have a watch and a listen as they make beautiful music together, bringing Sukima Switch‘s “Zenryoku Shounen” to life:

The project’s official Twitter account is celebrating the music video’s release with a RT campaign, in which lucky fans could win a 500 yen gift card.

 

Aoppella is described as a “high school youth story” bringing the excitement of a cappella music to multiple media formats. The project released its first album this past June, and continues to release new original songs and covers on its YouTube channel. At present, the project is 17 characters strong, with six-person unit Vadlip being the most recent to debut.
