Beast Tamer Rein VA Shoya Chiba Tests Positive for COVID-19
Voice actor agency Sigma Seven has announced that voice actor Shoya Chiba voluntarily underwent a PCR test due to fever on December 10, and as a result, he tested positive for COVID-19. This is the second time he has tested positive, after August 2021.

According to the agency, he is currently recuperating at home in accordance with the instructions of the public health center and the specialists. He also wrote on Twitter, “As announced on my agency’s official website, I have tested positive for COVID-19. I am truly sorry for any inconvenience this may cause… I will make every effort to recover.”

In the ongoing fall 2022 season, he is playing Rein Shroud in Beast Tamer, Yudai Imamura in BLUELOCK, and Soma Shiki in Play It Cool, Guys. Due to the infection, he was forced to cancel his appearance in the live-steaming event for Play It Cool, Guys on Sunday night.
