Streamline Pictures Akira Tetsuo English VA Jan Rabson Passes Away at Age 68
Jan Rabson, the iconic voice of Tetsuo Shima in the 1990 Streamline Pictures dub of Akira, has passed away at the age of 68.
Fellow voice actor and Akira English dub cast member Bob Bergen confirmed Rabson’s passing on his personal Facebook page on Thursday, along with confirmation from voice actor Neil Kaplan.
Outside of his role in Akira, Rabson continued to voice in anime released throughout the 1990s and featured in multiple Disney/Pixar productions, from the first Toy Story film to Cars.
