PSYCHO-PASS PROVIDENCE Anime Film Drops Full Trailer Featuring Two Theme Songs

 

 

A 90-second full trailer for PSYCHO-PASS PROVIDENCE, the latest feature film from Production I.G’s PSYCHO-PASS anime franchise, is now streamed on YouTube. The clip features the film’s two theme songs – “Alexithymiaspare” by Japanese rock trio Ling tosite Sigure and “Toujisha” (The Person Concerned) by songwriter/producer Ryo’s (Supercell) musical unit EGOIST.

As part of the franchise’s 10th anniversary project, the film that tells an untold episode that connects the 2019 film PSYCHO-PASS: Sinners of the System Case. 3: On the Other Side of Love and Hate and the TV anime third season is set to be released in Japan on May 12, 2023.

Ling tosite Sigure previously performed three songs for the PSYCHO-PASS anime franchise – the TV anime first season’s opening theme “abnormalize,” second season’s opening theme “Enigmatic Feeling,” and the 2015 feature film’s theme song “Who What Who What.”. “Alexithymiaspare” is included in the band’s latest seventh album “last aurorally” released in Japan on April 12, and its CD single featuring a newly-drawn anime illustration will be available on May 10.

EGOIST previously provided the first PSYCHO-PASS TV anime’s two ending themes: “Namae no Nai Kaibutsu” and “All Alone With You,” as well as the second season’s ending theme “Fallen.” After the digital release on April 17, the CD single of “Toujisha” will be released as EGOIST’s 11th single on May 12.
